VRIC Young Scholars

The VRIC Young Scholars Program is a faith-centered Sunday School designed for students in Kindergarten through 7th grade.

Our mission is to nurture confident, compassionate Muslim youth grounded in their love for Allah ﷻ, the Quran, and the Sunnah.

Through a blend of Islamic learning, project-based experiences, and community connection, we make faith meaningful, joyful, and relevant to everyday life.

The Young Scholars Signature Salah Journey

Anchoring Hearts in Prayer

At Young Scholars, Salah is not simply taught — it is experienced. Our program began as a dedicated Salah Memorization school and grew into a comprehensive spiritual learning model rooted in meaning, identity, and heartfelt connection with Allah.

We nurture a generation that prays not only with words on their tongues, but with understanding in their minds and sincerity in their hearts.

Why Our Salah Program is Different

A Transformational Approach

Many programs teach what to recite. Young Scholars teaches:

  • How to love Salah
  • How to understand Salah
  • How to live through Salah

Students progress beyond memorization into deeper understanding and spiritual growth through age-appropriate, reflective learning. This is a heart-centered journey designed to grow with each learner.

Foundational Salah & Memorization
Children begin with the building blocks of Salah and advance step-by-step with clarity, confidence, and joy. Visual tools, creative projects, and guided practice help students internalize every part of Salah meaningfully and naturally.
Mindful Salah & Spiritual Awareness
Older learners reflect deeply on presence, khushu, and ihsan, developing a sincere and private connection to Allah. Reflection journals, guided conversations, and identity-anchored lessons help students discover Salah as comfort, companionship, and guidance.

Built for Every Age and Every Learner

Salah in Daly Life
Students explore the meaning and purpose behind what they recite, building a personal relationship with their worship and learning how Salah anchors character, manners, and emotional wellbeing.
Real-Life Application & Values
Advanced students engage in faith-centered real talk about peer pressure, identity, friendships, emotions, and decision-making. This prepares them not only to pray with awareness, but to live Islam with strength and dignity.

Safety & Environment

The safety and well-being of every child are top priorities.
The building remains securely locked during school hours, a security officer is present on-site, and drop-off/dismissal follow a structured carline system.
Our classrooms are inclusive, sensory-friendly, and built on principles of positive behavior support.

Community & PTA

Our Commitment

At VRIC Young Scholars, we believe that learning Islam should touch both the heart and the mind.

Our goal is to help every student grow in faith, knowledge, and character — anchored in their identity as proud, practicing Muslims who reflect the beauty of Islam in all that they do.
