To begin the Nikkah request process, please complete the application form. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or date availability.
VRIC only performs Nikkah ceremonies in conjunction with a valid Texas civil marriage process.
Fees
Application Processing Fee (Non-Refundable)
$50
Nikkah & Facility Maintenance Fee
- Members: $350
- Non-Members: $450

Eligibility Requirements
- Applications may only be submitted within 90 days of the requested ceremony date.
- Applicants must reside in Irving, Coppell, or Farmers Branch.
- Friday Nikkah ceremonies are not available.
- Requests are subject to eligibility review, document verification, officiant availability, and facility scheduling.
Reservation Process
- Submit the application and processing fee.
- If approved, pay the Nikkah & Facility Maintenance Fee to reserve the date.
- Submit all required documents at least two weeks before the ceremony.
Required Documents
- Copy of the marriage license
- Copy of both parties’ driver’s licenses
- Completed Nikkah Contract (provided by VRIC)
Officiant Assignment
The officiant will be confirmed no later than two weeks before the ceremony.
If a VRIC officiant is unavailable, VRIC may assign an approved officiant from another local DFW masjid. If no approved officiant is available, you may suggest one for VRIC approval. Any honorarium for an outside officiant is the responsibility of the couple.
