VRIC Hifdh School

Sheikh Mozafar completed his Hifdh in 2006 and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies from Darul Uloom Chatham, Canada, in 2012. He has been instrumental in helping develop the Hifdh program at Valley Ranch Islamic Center (VRIC), where he teaches Qur’an memorization, recitation, Arabic, and foundational Islamic sciences. Under his guidance, many students have graduated as Huffadh and now serve communities across the country. Sheikh Mozafar lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three children.

Shaikh Ahmed Alhusainy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 and later completed a diploma in Interior Design. He completed his Qur’an memorization in 2007 under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Hassan and further specialized in Qira’at Hafs ‘an ‘Asim under Shaikh Saad Uddin Al-Sakandari. Shaikh Ahmed has extensive experience in Qur’an education and played a key role in revitalizing the VRIC Part-Time Qur’an School. He has taught at several Islamic schools, including Horizons Academy, ISO, and Radiant STEM. He currently serves as a full-time Qur’an teacher and appointed Imam at VRIC. He resides in Coppell, Texas with his family.

Ustadha Walaa Abdullah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and received her Ijaazah in Qur’an memorization in Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, along with certifications in Tajweed including Matn, Al-Jazariyyah, Tuhfat al-Atfal, and Al-Salasabil Al-Shafi. She has taught Qur’an at Masjid Al Salam and Arabic at the Islamic Society of Oklahoma. Ustadha Walaa has been part of the VRIC Qur’an School since 2016 and has served as a Hifdh instructor since 2017. She is married, a mother of four sons, and resides in Coppell, Texas.

Ustadha Najat began her journey with the Qur’an at a young age in Morocco. She holds an Ijaazah in Qur’an memorization in Qira’at Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, a Bachelor’s degree in Ulum Ashar’iyyah and Islamic Studies, and studied Arabic Literature at the University of Hassan II. She has been teaching Qur’an since 2005 and joined Valley Ranch Qur’an School in 2013. Ustadha Najat has also completed certifications in Positive Behavior Support and Mental Health First Aid, enriching her approach to student care and instruction.

Ustadha Manal Khairi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Sciences with a specialization in Microbiology. She has earned an ijāzah in Qur’an memorization according to the narration of Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim and has completed studies in tafsīr, Tuhfat al-Atfāl, Al-Jazariyyah, and the science of similar verses. She previously taught Qur’an at IALFM’s after-school and Sunday programs before joining the VRIC Qur’an School. Ustadha Manal is married, a mother of five, and resides in Colleyville.

Sister Hibbah Khan earned her Diploma in Islamic Education with specialization and Ijazah in Tajweed from Karachi, Pakistan in 2018, and further refined her recitation under Shaykha Marwa El-Gindy of Egypt. She is a graduate of the Islamic Science Research Academy Seminary and the Visionaries Leadership Academy, where she studied foundational Islamic sciences under esteemed scholars.

With over eight years of experience teaching the Qur’an and its sciences, Sr. Hibbah has taught at Al-Huda International, Al-Maarij Institute, LiveDeen, The Preservers Institute, and Valley Ranch Islamic Center. She currently serves as an instructor in the Full-Time Hifdh Program at VRIC and as Qur’an Director at The Preservers Institute. Through her teaching and leadership, she is dedicated to inspiring a deeper connection to the Qur’an and helping students grow in faith and character.

Ustadha Douaa Al-Massri earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law in 2016 and is licensed to practice Sharia and civil law, serving as a lawyer for five years with dedication and excellence. She memorized the Holy Qur’an in 2010 and holds Ijazah in the narrations of Ḥafṣ ‘an ‘Āṣim and Shu‘bah ‘an ‘Āṣim. Passionate about Qur’an education, she has been teaching Qur’an and Tajweed from a young age and has conducted Tajweed courses preparing students for Ijazah certification. She has taught at MAS Institute and Al-Rahman Mosque before joining Valley Ranch Islamic Center in 2022. She currently resides in Carrollton, Texas with her family.
