Program Name:  VRIC Flex Hifdh Program

Program Goals and Objectives: This program is intended for students and families that are looking for a Flexible Hifdh program to fit their schedule.

Schedule:  Students have the opportunity to choose a three-hour schedule between the hours of 8:00 am – 1:00 pm: Monday – Thursday and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Fridays. Students will be required to attend at least 15 hours a week (3 hours/day), Monday-Friday.

Structure: Students attending the Flex Hifdh Program will receive the same quality Hifdh education as Full time Hifdh students.

Who is this program for: Homeschoolers or families looking for a structured Flexible Hifdh School Program.

Sh. Mozafar Mehrabi

VRIC Hifdh Program Lead

Sheikh Mozafar, the eldest of 5 siblings who have all studied in the field of Islamic Sciences, is part of an effort and legacy of his late father, that one day, his children will become leaders to serve our local Islamic Communities.
Having completed his hifdh in 2006, he continued seeking knowledge and received his B.A. in Islamic Studies from Darul Uloom Chatham, Canada in 2012. He then taught numerous subjects including Arabic Language focusing on Nahw, Sarf, Balagha, literature and Arabic teaching methodologies. In the meantime he completed his hajj in 2012. Later he availed the opportunity to be a part of the hifdh initiative at the Valley Ranch Islamic Center where he helped in structuring and spearheading the program. Since then, he has been teaching numerous students' recitation, memorization, etiquettes, aqeedah, arabi and more. Dozens of Huffadh have graduated from VRIC over the years under his tutelage. Many have then gone on to teach and lead prayers in masaajids across the country. He and his family all moved to Texas and have become a part of the amazing Muslim communities we have in DFW today. He enjoys spending time with his family, construction, mountain biking and jet skiing. Sheikh Mozafar is married with 2 daughters, and lives with his family in Dallas, Texas.

Sr. Walaa Abdallah

VRIC Part time Program Lead - VRIC Hifdh Program Instructor

Walaa Abdullah obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She received her Ijaaza in Quran memorization in Hafs an Asim. Tajweed Poem in Matn. She has memorized Al jazariyyah, Tuhfat al Atfal, Al Salasabil Al Shafi. She was tested by her Sheikhah. Taught Quran on weekends at Masjid Al Salam in Oklahoma. Taught Arabic at ISO in Oklahoma. Part of the VRIC Quran School since 2016. VRIC HIfdh School instructor since 2017. Ustadha Walaa is married with 4 sons and lives in Coppell, Texas.

Sh. Ahmed Mahrous

Shaikh Ahmed Alhusainy obtained his Bachelor's in Arts in 2004. He has a passion for interior design, so he went to complete his diploma in this field.
After he finished his Academic Studies, he completed his Quran memorization in 2007 under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Hassan. He furthered his education and learned Qiraat Hafs An Asim under the well known shaikh Saad Uddin Al-Sakandari.
Shaikh Ahmed has rich experience in Quran Schools. He played an important role in revitalizing the VRIC Quran Part-Time school.
He has worked in several Islamic schools; Horizons academy , Iso, and Radiant Stem are to name a few.
Currently, Sheikh Ahmed works as a Full-Time Quran teacher and an appointed Imam to lead some prayers at VRIC.
He lives in Coppell, TX with his family.
